Q. There’s been speculation with the release of F2P that we’ll see content releases more frequently, can you comment on this? Something before X-Mas?

A. Yes!!! Between now and the end of the year we can expect F2P, Fall Festival and a separate Patch/Update. The Fall Festival will not come until October (no specific date) – but it will be similar to last year’s time frame. However, there is a patch planned between Fall Festival and the end of the year. Here are some of the details. There will be some adjustments to both RK’s and LM’s. The RK’s fire trait line is going to get some attention. Unfortunately, I did not get the details on the LM. In addition, they are planning another update to the Vault that will include a mechanic for naming chests, make it easier to move items between chests, and more. This is in addition to changes coming with F2P.

Q. Can you confirm Isengard is next year and if so, when?

A. Regarding Isengard (not the program), they said it definitely the plan to get there next year. This is not new and they were not specific on a timeline.

Q. When will we see more new dungeons?  Classic dungeons converted to scale? New raids? New Skirmishes? Are you going to have any group instances in Enedwaith?

A. The answer was “soon” but not in the upcoming Patch. They plan to continue to scale the dungeons. I asked about the mustering horns in Enedwaith and commented that there were not instance portals. They grinded and said “that is interesting. No comment.”

Q. You stated that with Mirkwood you didn’t want to release the best armor with the start of the expansion, and the Annúminas and Helegrod sets certainly prove that to be true.  Are these the final sets that we’ll see or are there more on the horizon? Will there be epic style armor in BG, Annúminas, etc.?

A. No one really had an answer. Obviously as the game evolves, there were be updates but nothing specific.

Q. Is there any way that players can stay updated on what items are removed or added to the store other than browsing?  Such as announcements, a forum thread, or a website/rss feed?

A. Yes. Much the way they release patch notes, they plan to have Store Notes / Updates. Often appended to the patch updates. They said to look for something very similar to DDO. Regarding RSS feeds, etc. nothing specific.

Q. Do you think that there will be a revamp on housing sometime in the near future?

A. Yes. They are working on it and said they are planning on an update for next year. However, they did not have any specifics.

Q. Any plans for a currency wallet?

A. Merric, you and a lot of LOTRO players will be very happy to know this is in the works. The time frame given was “soon” but not this year.

Q. Any guesses on when we will see another Skirmish Tournament?

A. They said this was put on hold until F2P launches. They said they can offer rewards for almost anything tournaments included.

Q. Any plans to increase friends list?

A. Said this had not come up before. They asked why and I explained I have different friends for each toon because they are at different levels in the game (E.g. low, mid, and high).

Q. Any plans for a better way to form groups other than spamming GLFF?

A. They said the entire Social Panel is going to be redesigned. However, this was a long term project and would not even commit to next year.

Q. What is the conversion of Turbine points to cash?

A. They would provide and specifics. However, they did say it will vary based on the amount you are buying and if any promotions are running. Something to watch for during the next week.

Q. PvMP Updates? Anything planned for the upcoming Patch?

A. No. Not this year. However, we should look forward to an update next year. No specifics.
