So the 12/12 release date for U5 has been announced almost everywhere EXCEPT here in LotRO's own forums and site. Seems like a very half-assed attempt to trump SW:TOR's early access on 12/13 or at the least to first reach players who have left the game (and don't read here). Really, if Turbine and WB cared enough about their own community they could have at least told us here as well. Please fanpersons, no justifications about this was just rewarding the journalists for a job well done or that it was mere coincidence. Sorry Frodo, but I'll be elsewhere that week.

Edit: On top of all this blue name Celestrata announced in an obscure forum post that Yule Festival begins December 20, which is also SW:TOR official launch day. /groans
